Abstract

Notions of invexity as function and as set are generalized. The pre–invex functions with respect to  (without differentiability) have been generalized. In this paper, the class of pre–invex functions introduced under semi-continuity conditions for continuous time programming. Pre–invexity for a function can be achieved via an intermediate-point check. A characterization of a pre–invex function in terms of its relationship with an intermediate-point, pre–invexity and prequasi–invexity are extensions of the case of the treatment provided in the context of continuous time programming.

Keywords
