• INFLUENCE OF RADIATION ON FREE CONVECTION IN MHD COUETTE FLOW BETWEEN TWO INFINITE VERTICAL POROUS PLATES IN PRESENCE OF HEAT SOURCE AND CHEMICAL REACTION
Abstract
The influence of radiation on free convection MHD couette flow between two infinite vertical porous plates in presence of heat source and chemical reaction has been investigated. The governing equations involved in the present analysis are solved by using the perturbation method. The velocity, temperature and concentration field are studied for different parameters such as Radiation parameter Chemical Reaction Heat Source parameter Schmidt number Reynolds number Hartmann number etc. Also the expressions for rate of heat and mass transfer coefficients are discussed numerically. In the absence of radiation parameter (i.e. =0) these results are in good agreement with the results of Ahmed et al. [1].
