• PERISTALTIC FLOW OF A HYPERBOLIC TANGENT FLUID THROUGH A POROUS MEDIUM IN A PLANAR CHANNEL
Abstract
In this paper, we investigated the peristaltic flow of a hyperbolic tangent fluid through a porous medium in a planar channel under the assumptions of low Reynolds number and long wavelength. The expression for the velocity and axial pressure gradient are obtained by employing perturbation technique. The effects of various pertinent parameters on the axial pressure gradient and time-averaged flow rate are discussed with the aid of graphs.
