• MAGNETO-HYDRODYNAMIC COUPLESTRESS COSINE FORMCONVEX CURVED PLATES
Abstract
On the basis of Stokes couplestress fluidmodel together with the hydromagnetic flow the study of MHD-couple stress cosine curved plates is studied and Modified Reynolds equation has been derived which is applied to the study of squeeze film characteristic including the non-Newtonian hydromagnetic effects. According to the results the combined effect of couplestresses and external magnetic fields provide an increase in the load capacity and the response time as compared to the classical Newtonian hydrodynamic convex curved plates.
