• MULTI-ITEM, MULTI-CRITERIA AND MULTI-CONSTRAINT LEVEL ECONOMIC PRODUCTION PLANNING INVENTORY PROBLEM: A GEOMETRIC PROGRAMMING APPROACH
Abstract
In this paper, we have formulated a multi-item, multi-objective economic production and marketing planning inventory problem under the constraints of space capacity and the total allowable shortage cost. Here the multi-objective functions of the problem are combined to a single objective function by global criterion method. Geometric Programming technique based on global criterion method is used to find the optimal solutions for different preferences on objective functions. Finally, the solution procedure is illustrated by a numerical example.
