• EFFECT OF VARIABLE VISCOSITY ON FLOW OF A MICROPOLAR FLUID OVER A LINEARLY STRETCHING SHEET WITH VARIABLE SURFACE TEMPERATURE
Abstract
Flow of viscous incompressible micropolar fluid over a linear stretching sheet is analyzed for the case of variable viscosity and variable sheet temperature. It is assumed that viscosity varies as a function of temperature. The basic partial differential equations are reduced to a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations, which are solved numerically using shooting technique. Effect on velocity, angular velocity and temperature profile for different parameters are shown graphically.
