• RELIABILITY OF TIME DEPENDENT STRESS STRENGTH SYSTEM FOR FINITE MIXTURE MODEL FOR DIFFERENT CYCLES

Abstract


In this paper considered a situation where stress and strength follow finite mixture of exponential distributions to find the reliability of a system. It has been studied when stressfollow exponential distribution and strength follow finite mixture of exponential distributions and stress is random independent and strength is is random fixed .The general expression for the reliability of a system is obtained. The reliability is computed numerically for different values of the stress and strength parameters.
