• STOCHASTIC ANALYSIS OF SINGLE PRODUCT PRODUCTION SYSTEM WITH SALES WHEN BOTH DEMANDS AND FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE

Abstract


In this paper we study a single product finite production inventory system where the production has the impact of seasonal demand, availability of funds and sales. Season for sales starts at time which is equal to maximum of time to seasonal demand, time to funds availability. The production times of the products have general distributions. The time to seasonal demand time and funds availability are exponentials. The double Laplace Stieltjes Transform of production and sales time and their means are obtained. Numerical examples are presented.
