• MIXED CONVECTIVE HEAT TRANSFER FLOW OF A VISCOUS FLUID THROUGH A POROUS MEDIUM IN A CYLINDRICAL ANNULUS WITH DISSIPATION AND RADIATION
Abstract
The radiation effect on the convective heat transfer flow of a viscous incompressible fluid through a porous medium confined in a cylindrical region between the circular cylinders r= a and r = b. The outer cylinder r=b is maintained at a constant heat flux. Also we take non-linear density temperature relation in the equation of state. We also consider constant heat sources in the fluid region. Equations governing the flow and heat transfer have been solved by using Gauss Seidal iteration method. The velocity and temperature have been discussed for different variations of G, D-1, g,Ec, N1,& . Also the stress the shear stress and the rate of heat transfer are calculated numerically for different sets of the parameter.
