• CHEMICAL REACTION EFFECT ON MHD FLOW WITH HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN THE PRESENCE OF THERMAL RADIATION AND HEAT SOURCE

Abstract


The present work is concerned with the analytical solutions of the unsteady MHD free convective heat and mass transfer flow past a semi-infinite vertical porous plate embedded in a porous medium with heat source. The influence of chemical reaction is taken into account. The governing equations are solved by perturbation technique. The effects of different pertinent parameters on velocity temperature, concentration are discussed with the help of graphs and tables. The results of the present study agree well with the previous solutions. Applications of the present study are shown in material processing systems and different chemical industries.
