β’ FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR π-CONTRACTIONS AND Ο-CONTRACTIONS IN QUASI-S-METRIC SPACES
Abstract
The notion of quasi- -metric space is introduced based on the definition of -metric space. We observe some properties (or consequences) of quasi- -metric space. We also introduce the notion of π-contraction andΒ Ο-Contraction in quasi-S-metric space and prove two fixed point theorems followed by examples to illustrate the validity of our theorems.
