Abstract

A new class of closed sets called (1,2)*--closed sets in bitopological spaces is introduced in this article. This class contains the class of all (1,2)*--closed sets and is contained in the class of all (1,2)*--closed set. The inclusion relationships of this new class with other known classes of closed sets are investigated. Also new classes of spaces, based on the class of (1,2)*--closed sets are introduced and their properties are analyzed.
