• Distribution of Zeros of Polynomial for Even and Odd Monotonic Coefficients

Abstract

The relation between coefficients and zeros of the polynomial has been the main source for the location of zeros. Some special cases wherein the relation between the coefficients of polynomial has helped in determining the location of the zeros as is the case with the very famous result known as Enestrӧm–Kakeya theorem. In this paper we have generalized the Enestrӧm–Kakeya theorem under much weaker hypothesis for a special case.
