• DUFOUR AND SORET EFFECTS ON MHD MIXED CONVECTION AND MASS TRANSFER FLOW PAST A VERTICAL POROUS PLATE IN A POROUS MEDIUM WITH HEAT GENERATION AND RADIATION
Abstract
The Dufour and Soret effects on MHD free convection and mass transfer flow of a viscous incompressible electrically conducting and radiating fluid over a vertical porous plate embedded in a porous medium have been studied numerically. The non-linear partial differential equations, governing the problem under consideration, have been transformed by a similarity transformation into a system of ordinary differential equations, which is solved numerically by applying Runge-Kutta fourth order method along with shooting technique. The effect of velocity, temperature, concentration, Nusselt number and Sherwood number for different variations are analyzed and discussed.
