• COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR TWO SELFMAPPINGS OF GENERALIZATION OF A b-METRIC SPACE SATISFYING AN IMPLICIT RELATION
Abstract
In this paper, we prove common fixed point theorems for two self mappings of generalization of a b-metric space satisfying an implicit relation and a property (E.A) introduced in [M.Aamri, D.El Moutawakil, some new common fixed point theorems under strict contractive conditions, J.Math.Anal.Appl.270 (2002) 181-188].In the setting of a b-metric space (see Stefan Czerwik, Contraction mappings in b-metric spaces, Acta Math. Inform. Univ. Ostraviensis 1, 5–11, 1993 and nonlinear set-valued contraction mappings in b-metric spaces, Atti Sem. Mat. Fis. Univ. Modena 46 (2), 263–276, 1998), our theorem generalizes Theorem 4.1 of (Mohamed Akkouchi, common fixed point theorems for two self mappings of a b-metric space under an implicit relation, Hacettepe Journal of Mathematics and Statistics Volume 40 (6) (2011), 805 – 810[2].
