• GENERAL ANALYSIS OF SINGLE PRODUCT INVENTORY SYSTEM WITH SCBZ SEASONAL PRODUCTION AND SALES

Abstract

In this paper we discuss a single product inventory system where the production has the impact of seasonal demand and sales. We consider the model in which the production and sales of k number of products are studied subject to seasonal requirements. The production time of the product has general distribution and the seasonal duration is exponential with SCBZ property. It occurs with rate α and the parameter α changes to β in an exponential time with parameter c. We present Laplace Stieltjes Transform of production and sales times and their means.Numerical examples are presented.
