• HOMEOMORPHISMS OF THE PRIME SPECTRA

Abstract


In this paper it is proved that closed subspaces of Spec R are homeomorphic to the spectra of the quotient rings of R. If R is a finite direct product of rings,,…, then it is proved that Spec R is the disjoint union of open sets that are homeomorphic to Spec .
