• SLIP EFFECT ON PERISTALTIC TRANSPORT OF A CONDUCTING FLUID THROUGH A POROUS MEDIUM IN AN ASYMMETRIC VERTICAL CHANNEL BY ADOMIAN DECOMPOSITION METHOD

Abstract


The problem of peristaltic transport of a conducting fluid through a porous medium in an asymmetric vertical channel is analyzed by taking into account the slip effects. Long wavelength and low Reynolds number assumptions are used to linearise the governing equations. The expression for velocity is obtained by using Adomian decomposition method. The expressions for pressure rise, pressure gradient and friction forces have been obtained. The effect of various emerging parameters on the flow characteristics are shown and discussed with the help of graphs.
