• OPINION MINING FOR QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS AND OUTLINE VIEW OF REVIEWS

Abstract


The development of web 2.0 concept increases large volume of information sharing such as reviews, experiences, opinions etc., and triggers research to use the Internet data effectively. This study aims to provide competitive intelligence based on the online reviews of flight service using Opinion Mining Technique. The proposed method offers, novel three dimensional decision support information which comprises of, outline_view, evaluation of five facets from the opinions and also recommendation to travel in a particular flight. Result analysis reveals the efficient outcome of proposed outline_view method compared to Non Matrix Factorization (NMF), Centroid and graph based methods which provide summary of reviews. Result discusses class-wise (Economic, Business, Executive) facet ranking and service performance of each class.
