• A Parametric Method for the Type II Sensitivity Ranges of the Fuzzy Assignment Problem

Abstract


Sensitivity analysis in the fuzzy assignment problem (FAP) is studied in this paper. Since the FAP is a completely primal degenerate linear programming model, Type II sensitivity analysis which determines the range of perturbation to keep the current optimal assignment remaining optimal, is considered. The parametric method [8, 9] is then applied to determine the Type II sensitivity range. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the potentiality of the parametric method and to show that the parametric method provides better Type II sensitivity range than the labeling algorithm [5].
